Picture Me Day

November 1, 2011

Yesterday, Juu and I met up to catch a film from the Singapore Fashion Film Festival. We chose to watch Picture Me: A Model’s Diary.

The film is done by documentary filmmaker, Ole Schell, who carries a camera around filming his model girlfriend, Sara Ziff. The film documents her journey from a fresh face model to an upcoming model who walked for Marc By Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Calvin Klein. Our favourite part of the film are the backstage scenes of the runway shows, many things you may not know of about the modeling scene covered there.

The super nice apartment we were ogling at across Old School. There are built-in closets, quite a dream, really.

Juu is wearing:
• Raybans
• Clutch – Flea market
• Necklace – DIY
• Black top – Forever 21
• Orange Trousers – Vila
• Shoes – Online

Ros is wearing:
• Grey sheer shirt
• Black jeans – Uniqlo
• Bag – Online
• Shoes – Online
• Watch – DKNY
• “11” bangle – Etsy
• Chain bracelet – DIY
• Leather bracelet – DIY
• Braided necklace – DIY

Unglam lizard we came across on the way out. I hope this doesn’t scare anyone.

We went inspiration shopping in town after. First up was H&M since Juu haven’t gone in yet, though we ended up trying on all the hats there rather than looking at DIY worthy stuffs. That is Juu in a furry foxtail hat. She loves furry things!

Love this fox beanie with furry ears!

More furry hats to end this post. We hope you enjoyed it! Feel free to leave us any comments or email us at hello@operationoverhaul.com to let us know what you’d like to see here.
